Would you like your child to be enthused by school? The unique environment at Crescent School, where happiness leads to very wide ranging successes, enables children aged three to eleven to develop into confident and independent young people.
We teach the children that ‘To give is to receive’ or, to put it another way, the more you put into something the more you get out of it. If you entrust your child to our care we will nurture him/her as an individual as all the children learn about themselves, the world around them and their places in it. Your child would be encouraged to strive for excellence in all that he/she does as well as being given opportunities to have a lot of fun!
As a Preparatory school, our final aim would be to prepare your child for secondary education. Our pupils do very well indeed in the 11+ Grammar School entrance tests and in the entrance tests to senior independent schools, many winning scholarships. Last year, for example, all the children who took entrance tests to senior independent schools were offered places at their first choice schools, five with scholarships, and nine of the 23 children were offered Grammar School places. Perhaps more importantly, we could enable your child to settle very quickly and happily into a senior school and make the most of the opportunities offered there.
